Import DB on Multiple MS CRM APP server and one DB server

Hello Experts,

We are in the middle of our migration from MS CRM 2011 to MS CRM 2016/D365 and we decided to have 2 app server and 1 DB server for final Production system.

Now my question is as a part of migration we will be performing import organization in order to upgrade the system, do we need to open deployment manager on each server and run import organization seperatly or if run import organization on one server it will automatically refelect on other server as i am having 1 DB server which is being shared by these 2 MS CRM app server.

Any help would be appriciated.

You just need to do it once. All the app servers point to single DB server.

But you cannot import 2011 organization directly into 2016 CRM . You need to follow the path 2011 ->2013->2015->2016. You can follow this link: [View:https://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/library/hh699673.aspx]

the information is taken from the DB Server, so it's sufficient to execute the deployment on 1 of the application servers.
