Plug-in trace logs? You might need to elaborate a bit more as to what you're looking to understand.
There is a plug-in for the XrmToolBox which makes viewing them easier: http://ptv.xrmtoolbox.com/

If you are looking for CRM Platform trace then you can use Trace Reader to easily read the traces.
