I would like my inventory next item number to be populated automatically (10001 if the last one was 10000) is there any way to accomplish it in Dynamics GP?

EthoTech also offers a product called Next Number Collection that will allow you to auto-number.

You cannot do this out of the box with Dynamics GP. However, you can look into the GP PowerPack Next Number Generator from Willoware - willoware.com/gp-powerpack-next-number-generator
