We have a client that has been using IM and the GP Destination Adapters for years to import transactions to SOP. Recently the integrations just hang when the user attempts to run them. However if they are logged into GP as 'sa' and run the integration then no problem and the integrations work. Their regular user is a power user to that company. We ran 'grant.sql' against the company and dynamics db thinking that maybe their regular userid was missing a permission. Still IM would hang when the user attempted to run the SOP integration.
We created a brand new user and granted this user 'poweruser' rights, then ran the SOP integration without issue. We deleted the original user from GP while logged into GP as 'sa', confirmed the user was no longer in SQL and was no longer associated to the db's in SQL. We then recreated the same userid in GP, granted access to the company and then to 'Poweruser' they still could not run the SOP integration.
I know that there are several security tables that store content relative to the userid and that deleting the user from GP does not necessarily empty those tables, what else could I be missing, why can the new poweruser run the imports but the old one cannot?
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Wally
