Hi Sandip,
We're trying to automate as much as possible so we were using the ERM Deposit import routine to bring in the bank statement transactions.
As an example, a payment appears on the bank statement for $50,000. This payment relates to multiple Debtor IDs as they can be a part of a purchasing partnership.
We receive a remittance advice note in the mail advising us that the recent payment of $50,000 relates to 6 invoices for $10,000 and 1 credit note of $10,000.
The way my users are breaking this down on the import file is:
Invoice1, Debtor1, 10,000
Invoice2, Debtor1, 10,000
Invoice3, Debtor2, 10,000
Invoice4, Debtor3, 10,000
Invoice5, Debtor3, 10,000
Invoice6, Debtor3, 10,000
Crednt1, Debtor1, -10,000
ERM deposit import then imports this with only a complaint that there is a negative, but still allows import.
To clarify my original question, is there a way that we can import a credit note transaction from a remittance advice slip and then apply it to the credit note to mark it as paid?
