Multiselect option set - form field - prefiltered

Dear all,

We have the following implementation with our customer - event planning with forms embedded in PowerApp Portal for registration.

We customized the form and one of the most important fields to capture on the form is a multiselect option set. Ok, we created the form field mapped with this multiselect option set, but since the options/values that can be chosen by the event participant are too many, the customer would like us to pre-filter this form field mapped to the multiselect option set, based on choices made on that event.

eg. if event is "white"- we should populate the form field (on the marketing form) with corresponding values for "white"

if event is "black" we should populate the form field (on the marketing form) with some other corresponding values for "black"

And the above, without creating 2 multiselect option set fields on Contact/Lead.

Is it possible? Did someone had something similar in implementation? Is there a way you recommend?

Thanks a lot,

A

Hi, it is possible, but it is a bit complicated, our team is preparing a guide with steps how to do it, the guide will be published in July - hope it is not too late for you? thank you

    Hello Diana Roy ,

This is not our case. Using lookup fields it's for sure an easier solution but in my case I have to filter/display the values of a multi-select option set based on a value on the marketing form. As a mention, this is an already implemented solution and the replacement of this field is not a solution to consider because this field is used in existing logic.

Hi Alexandra, understand, let me loop in Petr Jantac  - he is from marketing forms team and can better respond to this question, thank you, Diana
