Hello all,

I wonder is there anyway to hide CRM Email Tracking Token from subject line of the email without disabling it? I want to track emails in ms crm using this tracking token but don't want this tracking token string to be displayed in the subject line of email while sending it to customer(customer should not see this tracking token in his/her email subject).

Thanks,

Sunny

    Yes... you can.

Go to Settings --> Administration --> System Settings --> Email tab and uncheck use tracking token box. but keep smart matching checked.

    Hi Sunny Kadali,

Tracking Tokens require alphanumeric strings that are appended to email subjects of tracked emails. However, other methods for email correlation such as Smart Tracking do not require this.

    Hello Mahadeo,

Thanks for the response. I can disable Tracking Token option but service desk in my business needs that tracking token in CRM but they want it to display in the email which was sent to the customer, so I'm looking at ways to hide that without disabling the option. any ideas?

    Hi Sunny Kadali,

It is not possible to do that, but you can follow this guide if you need to send the occasional one-off email without a tracking token.

    Sunny,

In CRM either you can enable tracking tocken or disable completely.. there is not any option to add tracking token  for certain types of emails.

Would I still get tracking tokens if I switch to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing to send all the email invitations. Since it is a separate email domain, I hope it will not use that tracking tokens.
