Interacting with the FieldOne Map Control Programatically

Hi all,

I'm interested in the possibility of integrating live GPS positioning of vehicles onto the Bing Map control used by the Field One Sky solution now coming as part of CRM Online.

Does anyone know if this is possible, ideally via supported means through the SDK?

Have MS offered any insights into whether the Field One solution components will become first class citizens from a programmability perspective, now that MS have acquired FieldOne

    yes you can do through iframe, we did same thing for gis/map using google api.

    I had a chat with MS Partner Services and they've advised that because the Field One solution is under active development they have advised that it wouldn't be sensible to try and do any form of deep integration as it will likely break within two releases.

    It may be technically possible to interact with the FieldOne map control through unsupported means however it might be inadvisable to do so in a critical environment due to lack of support and a high liklihood of breakage within the next 2 releases.
