Hi Experts,
Today I came to a request that I need to install MS Dynamics CRM in D:\ drive not in C:\ drive due to space issue.
Have anybody done this before?
Is it recommended?
Please suggest as I searched allot but did not get any thread around it.

Hi, If it is a small implementation without any integration, then no issues. But if you are planning to do some integrations with other Microsoft products like SharePoint then it will be a mess. So you can decide it based on the type of implementation and nature of your project.

yes, my previous project, One of our team member accidentally installed the CRM in other drive.
It was working well, but when comes to configure the sharepoint integration. A lot of scripting needed to be change due to the script provided by Microsoft is for C drive.

I personally dont recommended to install in another drive. Stick with C Drive

The good practice is to use "C drive" for MS CRM installation. But I have never come across such scenarios as we maintain the servers with larger space with single drive.
