CreatedOn Date not updated by Record Created Date (overriddencreatedon)

Hello

As I understand it, when the overriddencreatedon field is populated as part of a data import, the CreatedOn date will be populated with this date.

I am experiencing hit and miss results where some records have the overriddencreatedon date as the CreatedOn date, and other where the CreatedOn date is being set to 1/1/1900.

This is a v9 org.

Any known issues?

Hello,

Make sure you have imported correct date format which is for those records.

MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss

Might be something wrong with the format. I would suggest try to import once more for single record an see the results.

Hi,

Yes, that was the understanding I had but have notived that with V9, you can simply set Created On field. You don't need to set record Created On.

We've ended up opening a case with Microsoft. They are in the process of investigating as it does appear to be an issue
