Removing item from sales order shipment/container

we have an invoiced sales order that has two items, shipment and load status are shipped and the container is closed.

There is only one item in the store, but the store has scanned both.

Is there a way to remove the 2nd item from the container or shipment so that it can be assigned to another store by the DOM?
