Good morning,
I am trying to export an entity (custom) to my BYOD. I was able to export it when there was no data (when I was in the DAT company), but when I tried to run it under another company I get the following error: Export failed while copying data from staging to target:
I have refresh the entities and remapped them, but I am not sure what else do I need to do.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hi Nissaka, You can drop index by connecting to BYOD Database in SQl server, find your staging table, expand it, Indexes (Right click and Delete).
Please note that you have to perform same step if you re-publish the Data entity to BYOD.
How did you drop the index?
The issue we has was the index that the entity creates when published, I drop the index and I was able to export.
Any update on this? I am also getting the same error.
Hi,
To solve the problem you need to give appropriate grant/permission to your DB like insert. and after that Please try to drop the table in the database, republish the entity and export again.
Hi Astrid,
Please export this entities in other companies than DAT in Excel to check if it works.
If it works properly, try to republish the entity to Azure SQL database again and create a new export project and export to Azure SQL DB (BYOD).
