What is the limit on charges allowed in a single transaction

I have a customer who is trying to pay off their balance with and AMEX. The balance is $29650.89. When i try to ring out the payment it says that it exceeds the limit allowed. What is the limit?

    Either you've set a limit on the AMEX Tender type (probably) or you need to update RMS to 2.0.106 or higher.  But that was limited to 100k.

    Current version is 2.0.0150 which we don't reccommend until the SP4 is released to y'all.
