Hi folks,

I have created and posted a batch in Financial Deferral for 6 months starting May but somehow GP posted all JEs every month from May to October. Is there a way to set up a reoccuring JE without it posting until the current month?

This is how the Deferral Module works. You can create a recurring batch though to accomplish what you want. Transactions >> Financial >> Batches.

Change the posting option from Single Use to what you want. This will not auto post in future periods.

There is also a setting in Deferral setup about whether to post to future periods and if they are open or closed.

Tools --> Setup --> Financial --> Deferral

Make sure these settings are set how you would like them.
