Exporting file on Microsoft Edge is not working

Hi there,

I'm trying to export a file using edge but it's not working. Please advise.

    Every once in a while it sets quotes around the filename but not the whole filename (so it's PATH/'name.type') and thus ends up with an illegal filetype (with a ' at the end). The workaround is to find a file of the right type - edit the type to have a ' at the end and right click and "open always with". That'll be Word for mailmerge and Excel for searches. (If you have to point out the Apps manually they are usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16).

    Unfortunately I don't know how to stop CRM and Edge from interacting in this unhelpful way.

    Try exporting the file from a different internet browser.

    I am able to export from my CRMOL instance in Edge browser. Check if any firewall issues, or downloading in another browser.

    Verify in different environment, different login, different machine. If nothing works, log a ticket with MS support.

    Try in open wifi, from home network, spin a trial instance to validate, share any error message if you see.

    Inspect in fiddler or browser developer toolbar for idea of whats going on.
