    What does Update Dimension entries and Change Global Dimensions used for ?
    In the General Ledger Setup page, you can define two global dimensions. After you start posting transactions, you can change these global dimensions by using the Change Global Dimensions action, as shown in your screenshot. Regarding the Update Dimension Entries feature, I don’t believe this is a standard function in Business Central, and I don’t recall it being available in NAV either. It seems to be a custom feature, but perhaps other users might have more insight into it.
