Hi,
can someone please point me to any reference material in regards to fulfilment policy including manufacturing sites? The source would be D365 F&O with various manufacturing sites across the globe plus that can fulfill the same order. Typical decision point would be free capacity (capable to promise) in conjunction with transport lead time and/or MFG cost (impact on margin). Additionally there would a be possible decision between MTO or PTO (OEM).
The client I am working with typically does not hold inventory.
Any reference material to this topic is appreciated.
