Creating a proforma quotation before sending it to the workflow and customer

Hi,

our customer would like to create and print "proforma" project/sales quotation before sending it to the approval workflow, to discuss it internally. Developing a proforma quotation functionality like the proforma invoice functionality in sales orders seems to take a lot of effort and man hours.

So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to make this possible with less time and effort.

    You could set Preview before print, will this meet your requirements?

    Hi Will,

    unfortunately for project quotations that is problematic. Since you would still have to run through the approval workflow in order to even be able to press the "send quotation" button.

    That was our initial thought. As mentioned it takes a lot of time and effort to develop a button like that and everything that is needed for it to work.
