Get Record URL from the API

Hi,

We have built an app that does integrate with the BC, the app will create Sales Quote based on some event, now I want to notify the salesperson via email, and send him an email that have the URL of the quote, how to build the URL, In BC if you share the record URL there is the value of Bookmark, how to get his value via API, any idea how to achieve it?

Hi, as far as I know, this cannot be done. The bookmark is only randomly generated when the page is opened, and cannot be obtained when the page is not opened.

I think, for now, I will use the Power Automate Flow action (Get Record URL) and then retrieve it and use it in the notification
