Virtual entity data source to connect to another Microsoft Dataverse environment.

Posted on by 125

Hi All,

I need to get the data from other cds enviornment to reflect the data in our enviornment. As par official documentation we cannot use the odata provider and as the data is not from externals sources, we are not sure how to fetch it.

We have two instances and we need to fetch the data from other region instances to reflect it in the current region where we are creating virtual entity.

Can we get any idea?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Another option is to use Dataflow

    Hi All,

Even i got a similar requirement, where we have to display data from one instance to another without saving the data/table in destination instance. I tried using virtual entity - ODATA data source but was getting error, and got to know ODATA is not supported between two instance. Is there any way to achieve this requirement.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Please check below links this will help to enable the CRUD on virtual entities.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/developer/data-platform/virtual-entities/enable-virtual-table-event-support

And we can use power automate legacy connector migrate the data.

    Thank You,
    Pradeep Rai.
