    Hi,

    You can setup server side sync to integrate with mail server.

    Following link explains how to set it up for gmail / pop3 mailboxes.

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/mt622063.aspx

    Thanks

    Hi tin, you have 3 options for the email configuration ;

    1) Server Side Synchronisation

    2) Email Router

    3) Outlook Client

    for learning Purpose I would recommend either  Server side synchronisation or Outlook client, Kashif has provided a link to help u configure for gmail

    Yes! It should work in Online 2016 even if it is demo.

    Have you turned on IMAP / POP3 in your gmail account.

    Hi Tin,

    It looks like you have got Server-Side sync selected for "Appointment, Contacts and Tasks". Set it to none because CRM does not support these on pop3 server profile.

    Thanks

    Hi Tin,

    If you doing this for learning purpose, i will recommend you the easy solution so that you can easily send email from your crm 2016 online version, first subscribe new account on the microsoft exchange online through new office 365 account, once done then in the same window subscribe the  CRM 2016 online trial then it will automatically link with the exchange online, then you need to assign the license from exchange online to the ms crm user and then you will send emails from CRM through exchange online, may be you need to do approve users etc. Please refer the below link as well :
