Hello:
Yesterday, for Management Reporter 2012, I switched from the Data Mart to the Legacy Provider. I have both in place, though I'm trying to use the Legacy Provider since the figures have been more accurate.
I'm generating an income statement which, of course, contains a reporting tree pointing to all company databases.
Although each company has a functional currency assigned, of course, I'm getting an error message upon printing this statement pertaining to the foreign companies. The error says that "Currency Z-US$ Does Not Exist". So, no values for those foreign companies are returned.
I don't get it. Who cares if that entity doesn't use Z-US$? More specifically, why does Management Reporter care and what's the fix?
Now, this happens if I'm logged in to a company that has "-Curr" appended to the company ID.
If I log into a company without "-Curr", data for the foreign companies are returned but not for the US-based companies that have Z-US$ as their functional currency.
This is strange. I need to have consistency.
Can I not report on companies all at once, regardless of their functional currency?
If someone could give some insights, on this, I'd greatly appreciate it! :)
Thanks!
John
