Disable auto email when closing a task

Posted on by 60

Hello,

I'm curious if there is a way to stop emails from automatically being sent to customers when an old case is closed.

Regards

    Hi Livan,

You can configure the workflow rule associated with the activity to not send an email when the activity is closed or updated.

Also, Please take a look at this thread.

In your case, You can write a plugin as well to check certain conditions

Thanks for your reply Naveen Ganeshe !

We sometimes have activities such as a meeting that we want to close. Every time we close an old forgotten activity, an email is then sent to the "customer". The email contains an update of the case.

    Hi Livan,

You can put a condition to check the case status. However, If you can tell me your scenario, it will be helpful to provide a more precise answer.
