Unable to show the event time zone as dynamics content in the marketing email

Posted on by 25

Iam trying to show the event time zone in marketing email. As you see in the images if i use the "time zone" the marketing email shows data as "190" . I have used the event

I try to retrieve the "time zone" field from the event which show GMT ..... but it gives me 190 and also does not show the AM/PM after time

How can i retrieve the time zone of event into marketing email.

    Hey Tez4,

Please open a support ticket for this - we can set a common display setting for date time fields in your emails. That should unblock your scenarios.

In the future, we'll be making this much easier to handle in the user experience.

    Thanks,

    Shravan

    Hi Tez,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

These issues have been reported by other community members: that's because Time zone is optionset field, in Dynamics, all options of an optionset field are saved as number value, while the label value we see in form have been mapped by system. It is same to date and time field: all date and time values are saved as UTC time, in user interface, they will be converted to time of region where the user is located.

Unfortunately by current design dynamic expression will only fetch raw data of record directly without intelligent conversion, please wait for relevant enhancement to be released in future.

    Regards,

    Clofly
