Hello Everyone:

If I have an Order Record open we want to show the Opportunity Id number (not the project name), Quote Id (not the project name, Opportunity ID (not the project name)

We would need this to apply to the Order View.

Is this possible?

Any advice or help would be great

    Dear Damon,

    For Sure you can add Quote ID on Order View, and If you have Opportunity ID number on Opportunity entity, then you can add it too on Order View.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks Abed, Now if I find out how to turn the Id's on the Entity forms to a number instead of a Look-up field.

    Hi damon. I hope I can help you.

    To view the id on the form you must create a custom field and name it order id for sample.  Then in form load use this java script code:

    var id =Xrm.Page.data.entity.getId();

    Xrm.Page.getAttribute(“your field").setValue(id);

    Then the id will appear in your field

    That's it   ;)

    Damon,

    I will suggest the easiest way for you, no code, less effort here.

    Use the quick view form would help you..

    Create new 2 quick view forms for Opp and QUote

    Put the Opp ID and Quote ID fields in the forms.

    Then in Order form, you can put those 2 quick forms in your order form.

    Once you open the Order form, you can get both Number (Op and Quote)

    This is about Quick View form..

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

    Damon,

    If you are referring to Form then my  prev answer could be your consideration.

    If you are referring to Order View, then you might need custom code, my example here:

    You can change the name..Accordingly..but, programmatically here

    Hope this helps you!

    Thanks.
