Add an 'Open in Browser' link

Posted on by 3
Hi,

I'm trying to add an 'Open in browser' link to my email because I'm finding differences in how the email displays between Outlook and Gmail, however I can't figure out how to get the url that corresponds to my email. Doing some googling seemed to mention a field called 'View in webpage url' in the Messages entity but I can't find that. Probably goes without saying but I'm using real time marketing.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Miguel,

actually saying that you are using real-time marketing is relevant in that case. The view in browser link is currently not available in real-time emails, but hopefully will come soon. The Message entity and View in webpage url option that you mentioned is only possible in outbound emails.
To check the differences in outlook and gmail you could also try the Litmus integration.
And remember that outlook renders html a little different than gmail, especially when it comes to spaces and padding.

    Hope my answer helps you!
