We are on FRx 6.7 SP12, trying to migrate to Management Reporter 2012 CU13. I have followed all of the data preparation steps (getting rid of old building blocks, deleted g32 files and rebuilt GL indexes, compacting FRx spec set and system databases, made sure all building blocks are tied to a report catalog). We only have one spec set and I removed all of the demo information. However, when I go through the migration wizard, only my building blocks are converted, and there are no report definitions. Because of this, when I look at my row definitions in MR, there are no accounts (we do not use account sets). So somehow the migration process does not think they are tied to reports, when they are.
Additionally, when I view the report after the wizard finishes, it shows that all of my report definitions converted with warnings, yet none of them are there. The first record in the Report Definition section shows a report failing that does not exist when I view reports in the FRx app. Again, I did compact the databases, which should have gotten rid of any corrupt reports. We have 156 companies in GP, so doing the migration wizard is very time consuming (and I think I'm getting carpal tunnel). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)We had similar problems last year during our conversion to MR. Everything we could see looked right and complete. We ended up getting our partner involved and our partner got a Microsoft tech involved. The Microsoft tech found some corruption in our FRx database (ms access file) that compacting the database did not resolve. The Microsoft tech had to manipulate our FRx database directly before conversion would work.
