Need admin approval integ-int-dualwrite error when providing app consent for Dual Write

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup Dual Write in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (10.0.7) Update31 (7.0.5457.35488) where my user is admin, against a PowerApp personal environment tied to the same credentials that I use in Dynamics Finance by following this guide:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/dual-write/requirements-and-prerequisites

When I try to provide the app consent, I always get this:

Need admin approval
integ-int-dualwrite

integ-int-dualwrite needs permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant. Please ask an admin to grant permission to this app before you can use it.

I am not clear on what type of admin credentials are required. I am admin in the Azure instance where this sandbox is running, and I believe I'm admin as well in my environment in PowerApp. I've done all the steps properly, but I cannot get past that. Any guidance on this?

Thank you!

When you create Azure App, did you grant admin consent?

I requested access and I was able to grant access to the first URL:

    https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=33976c19-1db5-4c02-810e-c243db79efde&response_type=code&prompt=admin_consent

When I try to use the same URL with different application ID as explained in the guide:

    https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=2e49aa60-1bd3-43b6-8ab6-03ada3d9f08b&response_type=code&prompt=admin_consent

I get an error just saying:

    "Something went wrong"

    Any idea? Thanks!

not sure what do you mean "different app ID".  Admin consent need to be granted in each Application.

It's better to raise one support ticket so back end team can check the telemetry log

My apologies, let me rephrase. in step 5 of the dual-write tutorial, it asks to run the following URL in the browser:

    https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=33976c19-1db5-4c02-810e-c243db79efde&response_type=code&prompt=admin_consent

The instructions says to run it twice, with the following Application IDs in the "id=" section of the URL:

          App ID: 33976c19-1db5-4c02-810e-c243db79efde
          App ID: 2e49aa60-1bd3-43b6-8ab6-03ada3d9f08b

It worked fine with the first one but then I got the error with the second one. Any ideas?
