bank account reconciliation with transactions posted directly in general ledger main account

Hi all,
How can I reconcile transactions posted directly to a general account and not to a bank account? Is there any solution other than reversing these entries and correcting them?

    the purpose of bank rec is to reconcile posting through bank subledger. the direct posting to gl has no link with subledger and won't be reconciled.

    You can't reconcile them, and in general its not recommended to post directly to a G/L Account if it has a subledger. You should reverse those transactions and post them through the bank account.
