POS stuck in Offline Mode

I did find the answer that worked for me. I worked with an MS Tech and we just rebuilt the Offline DB and everything worked. I had tried this a couple of times before, but on this date it worked. The offline database when it was created somehow was corrupt. Starting over, did the trick and all the items I expected to show up did this time.
Have you turned on the option to allow "Ad Hoc Queries" . Most of the time this is set to not allowed and wont allow the updates between the offline and online databases.

Please see my first posting. I accidently made this duplicate when I created this question. But to be short, yest I can connect to both in SOAdmin. I am testing just 1 POS station to replace for refresh. I will be refreshing 17, this is just the first set in the new Win 7 environment.

Have you verified that the online server is up and running?
If you test the online database connection in Store Operations Administrator does it connect?
How many computers are stuck in offline mode?
Are you receiving an error when trying to go back online?
