Currently when I open the Edit filters function in a Dynamcis 365 view and change the filters and apply I am unable to save changes to existing view. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Can you check your server version to see if it's 23015? If it is, Mr. Leco Lv introduced as below:
This might be a bug. I guess your server version is 23015. You can find it in Settings-> About. Microsoft Teams is working on a fix.

If you mean to change the filtering of an active view, I'm afraid that's very difficult to do.
The easiest thing to do is to modify the filter and save it as a new view, setting the newly created view as the default view.
