When I send direct mail through Microsoft Dynamics CRM, an html <br> tag appears in the subject line in the recipient's mail box. Any thoughts as to why this is happening? Thank you.

Create a new template with the same body text. Send e-mail to any recipient using this new template and check if you get the same issue.

Did you copy paste the content from the old template to the new one?

If you did so, please create the new template and just write down something in it to test. Then check if you are getting the issue.

I created a new template from scratch and did not copy anything into it. typed the subject line as well as the body content and saved.

I also tried with/without merge fields in the body of the email and same issue.

I'm having this same issue. Can anyone at MSFT respond. This is affecting our marketing efforts. I have created template from scratch and sent to mutliple people for testing. All report the <br> in the subject line. Turning off email tracking does not fix the issue.

Do you guys have email template with the html tag in body of the email? if you have any email with the html tag in the email body saved in email template then delete that email. Also, remove the logo from the signature if any. please don't copy the matter for email from word or web directly. copy the content on notepad and from notepad in the email template.

I have tried what DINOO said and it did not work. this is what my line looks like "<p class=MsoNormal>Strategic Planning for 2014</p> " - any help would be great. This is very frustrating and I'm unable to send out the e-mails I need to.
