Good morning, afternoon, or evening – depending on where you are in the world!
This issue you are describing—where an error appears on the Business Performance section of the Role Center in Dynamics 365 Business Central—can often be traced back to one of the following setup or configuration issues:
    Common causes and resolutions:
    • Missing or misconfigured Role Center parts:
      • The Business Performance section is typically powered by cues, charts, or embedded Power BI reports.
      • Go to Page Inspection (Ctrl+Alt+F1) on the Role Center and verify if the part responsible for Business Performance is loading correctly.
    • Power BI integration not configured:
      • If the Business Performance section uses embedded Power BI, ensure:
      • Power BI is enabled in Business Central Admin Center.
      • The user has access to the Power BI workspace/report.
      • The report is published and shared correctly.
    • Permissions issue:
      • Ensure the user has the correct permission sets, such as:
      • D365 POWER BI
      • D365 REPORT VIEWER
      • D365 BUS FULL ACCESS (if applicable)
    • Corrupted or missing Role Center customization:
      • If the Role Center was customized, try resetting it to the default layout.
      • You can also assign a different Role Center profile temporarily to test if the issue is profile-specific.
    • Telemetry or performance issues:
      • Use the In-client Performance Profiler or Telemetry to check if the error is related to a slow-loading or failing component [1].
If you can share the exact error message or a screenshot, I can help pinpoint the issue further.
I teamed up with AI to respond the most accurately and efficiently.
    Hope this helps some.

Can you please click on the drop down and see if other charts are working and also check period length etc. There might be no data based on filter you provided

    Thanks

As Ramesh mentioned, this should be a problem with the report settings. You can try resetting them.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.
