We have migrate from CRM 4 to CRM 2015 Online. We have discover the new Activity Feeds and the possibility to replace it by Yammer (has we already use Yammer for internal needs). We understand that it is a irreversible configuration.
Pros and Cons using Yammer?
We also haven't seen any new features about Yammer in the RoadMap and in the Spring 2016 version. Any one knows if Microsoft will continue to maintain both ways to collaborate (Activity Feeds and Yammer)?

I have the same question (0)Yammer might be useful if you want people outside of your CRM user base to collaborate in discussions. Say only sales use CRM but you'd like people in your service team to comment on any posts they make related to product issues. Using Yammer you could do this without needing a CRM license.
Personally, I would normally stick with out of the box activity feeds. Unless you have some specific requirements for collaboration with Yammer. Or if your organisation already makes use of Yammer. (As yours does.)
I have no specific knowledge on RoadMap for Yammer beyond what is already released. Sorry. Although I would expect Yammer integration to remain.
