Unable to add images when creating Email templates in Dynamics CRM 2011

Hi guys

My user is trying to create an email template. He wants to copy the template from the company provide Outlook Template files ( .OFT ).

When we copy the whole email template from oft file and paste into crm email template, eveything looks fine. However after saving record, and opening the email template again, the images are not displayed. It seems the image links are not being copied over when creating the email template in CRM.

Any solutions will be greatly appreciated.

Are the images hosted on the internet?

The best things is to preview the file in Internet Explorer and cut and paste from there.  This article is for CRM 4, but same concepts apply.

    Hi

Yes it works when we preview the email template in IE before copying to MS CRM.

Is there any known issues with copying from .OFT files ?

This will be a bit more troublesome for my business user to always have to save the .oft file as HTML first and then viewing in IE before copying to Dynamics.
