Hi All,

I am trying to import an unmanaged solution into Dynamics 365 CRM 2016 instance.

Below is a screenshot of the results after the import:

Next I downloaded the Log File to see what the error was.

This is the error log for solution:

Error-Log-1.PNG

And this is the error log for components:

Error-Log-2.PNG

The error text is: "Cannot add a Root Component ita_creditlimit of type 1 because it is not in the target system."

Can anyone please assist me?

Thank you

Musa

    Hi

Is the entity ita_creditlimit  part of this solution? Does it exist in the target environment you are trying to import?

You have to disable root components. Below post may help you:

    Hi ,

Its seems your solution depends on related components with "ita_creditlimit " option-set fields .You need to add all the component related to  "ita_creditlimit".

If I am not wrong you have added only few components in unmanaged solutions from different managed solutions where you have some dependent component which you need to include  in your unmanaged solutions.
