In Dynamics sales there is the Sales Accelerator, that only shows me tasks that are past due. How can I create a new card type that tells me about tasks due within 3 days or something? Let alone tomorrow or within 3 days, its not convienient if it doesnt even show tasks due today that just haven't past yet.

You can add a new filter for Due date (Due Today, Due next 3 days...)

You need to go to Sales Inisight Settings -> Click on Sales Accelerator -> then WorkSpace -> Go to customize Workplace "Filtering and Sorting), select your record type (lead opportunity, activities ......) and select the field and add the filtering for it and make it available (let it be in the default filter group "more")

@Zhilan A Task is a type of Activity. When I go into Manage access and record type, in the workspace > click configure > Add Record Type, I don't see one for just Activities.  Only for Campaign Activities and I want it to apply to all activities not just campaign specific activities.

@OverwatchMedia Yes indeed, Campaign Activities are a different record type and not part of the standard Activities table. Remember that the Activities table is a parent for emails, phone calls, appointments, etc., so it cannot be added to the workspace directly since none of them are primary tables.

Your issue is specifically related to the Tasks table. The reason tasks aren’t showing as expected is usually either:

    1. The sequence that created the tasks is misconfigured, or
    2. The workspace filter isn’t set up to display them correctly.

    3.

As I mentioned earlier (and showed in the screenshots), you should review and adjust the sequence settings and the workspace filters to make sure tasks with upcoming due dates appear.

@Zhilan Hi sorry for the delay, but it seems we could be talking about two different issues. Can you post a screenshot where you can select the Activites table/record type when creating a filter as it appears you are saying I should be able to do and mentioned in your previous comment. I ask because it seems your talking about something else entirely or accidentally glossed over my issue with your suggestion.

The beggining post was about me not being able to see Activities (I did specify tasks though) that are due within a few days (so no tasks, but also no calls) was my original issue. You gave a response on steps I can take that dealt with creating a filter for the Activities Record Type. But when I said there is no record type for Activities and explained how I can't add it under Manage access and record type either, you mentioned filters and sequences that created the task. But as I stated, your image and descriptions of what to do, which is to properly create a sequence or filter, would not fix the problem, because the problem is I do not see the Activities record type that you said I should select to even begin with.
