Global Search: Configuring the (+) Add New button in the Search Result

Hello All,

As we all know that there is a Global Search functionality in CRM 2015. My question is after we entered something in the Search bar and the search results are obtained, is there any way to configure the (+) sign button? For example: If i am searching for a contact and search result are obtained in the Search Result view, can i call a custom web resource rather than CRM out of box contact page on click of the (+) button?

The below is the Search Result view and i would like to configure (+) button. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I was able to find the resolution to this by using jquery to find the element name i.e (+) button id name, cloned that button, hid the old button, and fired the functionality by using the new button.
