Mapping Most Recent Note from Activity Pane to World Tempalte

I created a XML Mapping World template for Opportunities - one of the related entities I added was the Activity Pane. My goal is to capture the most recent note entered for an Opportunity. 

I successfully added "notetext" field from the "Opportunity_Annotation" list, but this gives me the oldest note by default. Does anyone know of a way I can coax the system into either giving me the latest note, or even better the 3 latest notes for a given opportunity?
