CRM 2016 Excel Template Formulas Not Recalculating

I am using CRM 2016 On-Premise with excel templates. The feature is working fine for downloading spreadsheets with all the appropriate rows of data. However I added another sheet in Excel with a variety of calculations and analytics. I  can upload that template into CRM fine but when I redownload it none of the calculations are up to date, it shows the same value as when I uploaded it. I have to manually click into the cell or do a replace all function by replacing the = sign with another = to get it to refresh. When I do this the calculation executes and gives the correct values. I am using the table header titles for reference in my Excel formulas.

I have checked that all my auto calculation options are set up correctly and F9 also doesn't work to refresh my calculations.

Am I using this feature incorrectly or is there something that can be done to provide up to data calculations?

Thank You

Am also facing the same issue. One thing is clear if you modify header, nothing will work. Moreover resources on excel template manipulation is not enough to check its features.

Did anyone work this out - I've just done some simple sums in a spread sheet to add up my actual / estimated opportunity values and only one of them works the others I have to manually update.

I found that the formulas in the first table of my data are correct, but subsequent rows duplicate the same formula verbatim (without proper cell reference).  If I copy row 1 down through the data table all is good.  I am looking to avoid doing this though and have the cell references in the formulas be correct upon export.

Microsoft has a support article that touches on this:  docs.microsoft.com/.../analyze-your-data-with-excel-templates

"Create a formula for expected revenue. Don’t refer to cells using their addresses; define and use names instead."  So, for example, it would be "@[Expected Revenue]" instead of cell G10....

This solved the problem I had with formulas not calculating in the exported file.
