Hi,

I want to change the default Components Name e.g., Email Templates to something else (e.g., see screen-shot below) in D365 Online. How can I change it and from where? Thanks

Hi Partner,

I am glad that you found a way to change the default component "Email Templates" in default solution.

However once there is an update to CRM there are chances that this customizations may cause an issue during an update as all the coding will be on default component name.

So I would recommend not to change the name of default component, instead create another custom entity as per the requirement.

It is customizable (NOT VIA CHROME CONSOLE) and I found a way. I was not expecting this type of answer from a MVP.

I can do that through console of Chrome but it will not be "customization".
