    Hello,
This is expected if the April statement ending date is 30-April and the customer payment terms are 30 days from statement, because those April invoices are not due until end of May, so they are not overdue in April aging brackets. In the Customer Statement report, the aging band works from the report ending date and shows overdue amounts by intervals, so invoices due after the statement date will not fall into overdue brackets yet. They should appear as open/current amounts, but not as aged overdue balances for April. To see them aged, run the statement/aged receivables with an ending date after the due date, e.g. end of May.

🔎 Key Concept: "30 Days from Statement"
    • Statement terms mean the due date is calculated from the statement date, not the invoice date.
    • If the statement is dated 30-April, then all invoices included in that statement will be due 30 days later → 31-May.
📊 How Ageing Works in Dynamics 365
    • Ageing brackets are calculated based on the statement ending date.
    • At 30-April, invoices due on 31-May are still considered current (not overdue).
    • Therefore, they will not show up in April’s ageing buckets such as 0–30, 31–60, etc.
    • They will only appear in ageing once the statement date moves past their due date.
    🗓 Example Timeline
    Date Event Status in Ageing
15-Apr Invoice posted Included in April statement
30-Apr Statement generated Invoice due 31-May → Current, not aged
31-May Due date reached Still current until statement run after May
01-Jun New statement run Invoice now appears in ageing brackets if unpaid
✅ Why You See This Behavior
    • The system is working as designed: ageing is forward-looking from the statement date.
    • April invoices are not overdue at April 30, so they don’t fall into any bracket.
    • They will appear in ageing only when you run the statement or ageing report after May 31.
    💡 Practical Tip
If you want to preview how invoices will age, you can:
    • Run the Aged Receivables report with a cut-off date beyond the due date (e.g., 31-May or 01-Jun).
    • This will show how invoices move into the 0–30 day bracket once they cross the due date.
So in short: Invoices dated in April, with 30 days from statement terms, are due end of May. As of April 30, they are not overdue, hence not shown in ageing brackets. They will only appear once the May statement or later reports are generated.
Would you like me to also prepare a visual ageing flowchart so you can see how invoices move across brackets step by step?
