How to use tags to link to other areas of CRM

I am not sure if tags work in D365 or not. I would like to create a mult-line text field where I could tag records (like how it is done in posts), to link to other areas of D365.

Can this be done and if so how?

Hi,

I'm afraid this is not possible with the OOB features. It can be implemented with a PCF control, that seems to be a very good idea. I will try to implement this PCF Control if it doesn't already exist.
