I recently updated to gp10 sp 5 and everything went fine. But I had to restore the company database to a pre sp5. Now when I run the GP utilities it those not applies the sp 5 changes to the company db. What do I have to get the GP utilities to apply the sp6 changes to the company database?

Is it possible for you to install another SQL instance of GP and installing a new GP with the previous version of GP.
You could then create the company in the new instance and restore your back here.
Install the Service Pack on this instance and then backup the company and restoe it in your live environment.
The table is in the Dynamics Database, DU000020. Once you look at this and see what is involved to get all the product dictionaries back to the right levels, believe me it is simplier to restore the Dynamics Database. Hopefully you are just running one company, other wise you will need to all companies and the Dynamics Database.

It may possible to change one table and start update again, need to google or search in KBs. I don't know which table holding upgrade information in Dynamics DB.

Thanks for the suggestion, i was hoping to avoid that becuase my dynamics backup appears to be corrupts. I thought there was a way to update the to update the company version in the dynamics so it applies the neccessary updates.
If I am not wrong you need to Restore Dynamics Database as well because it contains company information and update record, once you restore Dynamics DB it will start installing SP.
