    Ahmed,

SQL Server 2008 R2 was the latest version to be supported with Dynamics GP 10.0.  If you're on SQL 2012 and GP 10.0 you'll need to upgrade to at least GP 2010 in order to be in a compatible state.

    Hello Sandip,

I'm sorry to comment on such an old thread, but I wonder if you managed to find a solution to the problem because I am facing the same problem right now.

    Thank you,

    Ahmed

    Hello,

What is solution? I am facing exactly same issue. I have GP10 SP5 ; current SQL Server is SQL 2012 (Express Edition).

Please give me steps to resolve issue? Do I need to install SQL Server 2008 ?

Your earliest reply is highly appreciable.

    Thanks much

    Sandip

If you have applied SP5 to GP 10 and it applied successfully you will not receive this SQL version error in GP Utilities. If you need further assistance I would recommend contacting your partner or opening a support case.

Hello, I am running into this issue and I setup SP5. I am running Micrsoft GP 10.0 and SQL server 2008 r2. What is meant by:

"Hi - found the solution to this - 2 pronged setup for sp5 - other than the setup.  2nd step for utilities and SQL dbs to be updated.

    annie"

I am not following.... I simply dowloaded the service pack, set-up and still got the same error when running GP utilities.

    Please Help.
