"Export to Word" from print preview - deprecated?

Hi there,

When printing in D365FO to screen, the "preview" screen used to have a button allowing to "print to excel", "print to word" etc. (the screenshot is in 10.0.4)

However, I'm looking at 10.0.6, the "print to screen" form seems different, and I can no longer file the "Export" button.

Has this feature gotten deprecated in the latest release?

No, it is still there. I can still see Export to Excel, Word options in latest version. Your screen doesn't look like it is printed to screen.

    Hi Zvika,

You have the PDF previewer enabled in the second machine/screenprint.

Please open ...&mi=SysReportAdministration and disable the preview experience.

Then run the report again and export it to word.

    This should fix the issue.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Thanks Dr. Ludwig. Your answer gave the final piece of the puzzle (I'm baffled why Microsoft would keep this menu accessibly only through URL manipulation)

The following link confirms they plan to eliminate the "old" way.

I tried your suggestion, but I am still getting an error:

I flipped the option to No.

I try to print, but instead it automatically downloads a PDF and then give the warning below.

I think I am missing something.  The customers want the screen below back so they can export to Excel.

    Thank you.
