Hello,

From DEV environment , when we export Managed solution to QA environment for testing and after testing if the solution is ready to move next to UAT environment.

what approach should I follow and we have to make sure in this scenario if something not deployed to QA environment should not be imported to UAT environment.

Please suggest.

Thanks in Advance!

    Hi,

In general whatever you deploy to QA and has passed your testing should be deployed to UAT.

The solutions should be the same, so that you know that all the features that were deployed to test will be deployed to UAT.

If you only need part of the solution to be tested by UAT, then only that part should be deployed to QA as well.

    Hope this helps.

    One more thing.

You should also consider using CI/CD to continuously deploy your solution across environments. If that is too comprehensive at this point in time, you can create YAML scripts to deploy your solution across environments.

    Hi Aric,

    Thanks for your response!

Is use of CI/CD possible in dynamics 365 on-Premises?

    This is possible.

    Depending on your DevOps Infrastructure.

For your scenario i recommend PP Build Tools: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=microsoft-IsvExpTools.PowerPlatform-BuildTools
