Just to add to this, I think you need integration Manager 10 with service pack 1 for the fixed asset adapter. You also need to have e-conncet installed to use that adapter. Just one more hint, you need to add a dummy asset by hand first before you can add all your fixed assets or the e-connect adapter will throw a message about not being able to get the Next number from the FA tables (because none exists). Just something I have come accross.
Yes Peter, you need to setup classes and books first and also default accounts.
thx alot frank, but i need to know what the mechanism to upload the fixed assets i mean i should setup first classes or books ......etc then i should upload the data to general

Peter, you should use Integration Manager with the Fixed Assets adapter.
