I have a scenario where I don't want a user to be able to select existing records on a look-up. Ideally I'd like it to go straight to a quick create where they will create the new record to be set when clicking into the look-up, or at least prevent searching and being able to select an existing record, Supported or unsupported I'm interested if anyone has any solutions for this.

We can create a new view which has no records, then apply the new view to the lookup field on the form.
Let me take the Parent Account lookup field on the Account form as an example.
Step 1. Create a new view.
Edit Filter Criteria, set a condition that always be false.
Step 2. Edit the mian form, chanege properties of the lookup field, then check Disable most recently used items for this field, select the new view as Default View, and select Off for View Selector.
This way, users cannot search any record in this lookup field, so they have to create new record.
