Leave request ceiling

How can i set leave request ceiling for employees? In our organization employees are eligible for 6 Casual Leaves through the year but they can only apply for 1 CL per month. How can i set this request ceiling for leave request?

How do you configure this type of leave request? Do you have special rules for it?

Yes I have gone through D365 learn and I am aware of Leave and absence types and plan.

My customer's company as a leave plan which have leave request limit. employee can only apply for 1 leave a month and I am not able to configure the same in the system.

If anyone is aware of any customization, then please point me in the right direction.
